GPS is a highly relational group located in Plano TX designed to help you find your place in the Kingdom of God and walk in it. In the course of the year, you will hear teachings on various Bible and family themes, as well as other practical topics. You will also regularly hear foreign missionaries in GPS. We have a variety of teachers and an interactive style as well as various home groups to get you connected to others. We believe that finding one's place in the kingdom always involves others. Psalms 86:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

  • This weekend is the LAST time GPS will meet as a class! As many of you know Pastor Bob and Barbra are going back to the mission fields in Nicaragua. Words can not express how much we will miss them but God has a calling for everyone and we each must follow what God lays on our heart. However there will still be some mission trips to Nicaragua in the future so plan ahead and get ready to go visit.
  • We will have one more class together this coming weekend, but we will be in room 247. We'll do a short lesson, and we can talk a little bit about what we are doing, missions trips, and thoughts about good LIFE groups to be part of.    Hope everyone can make it out.
  • Prayerfully consider a donation for the school we are building in Nicaragua. Please continue to lift up this project in prayer. If you are lead to help in any way please contact pastor Bob.

We hope everyone is well this week and walking in God's best. Remember that the Christian life is a process, not an event.

After some time of thinking, praying, and seeking counsel, we have felt the need to return to the mission field. In May we will be moving to Nicaragua to work with the Christian school (and future clinic and other things that are coming down the road) in Nueva Guinea. Manto in Plano will continue on, with a new pastor; José Serpa, from Miami. In the case of GPS, you heard that it will not continue and several LIFE groups were suggested. While we know we are following God, we are also sad. The GPS people are some of the finest people that we have ever known and we truly feel like we have grown in God together with you all.

We love you all. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to grow together with you in the kingdom. May God continue to bless you richly.
